Founded in 1915, the Transportation Club of Houston is a nonprofit educational, social and charitable professional organization dedicated to promoting public awareness of the transportation industry and knowledge and information of concern to our members. Our membership consists of executives in the transportation departments of major corporations, producers of logistics and transportation-related products and companies which provide the transportation of cargo by motor, rail, water and air. The Club is one of the largest in the country with more than 300 Houston-area professionals who meet, learn and network.

Because the Club strongly believes in assisting students who are pursuing degrees in logistics or transportation, it contributes thousands of dollars annually towards scholarships at accredited institutions of higher learning. Funding is primarily raised through a bi-annual golf tournament in the spring and fall.
